The Wide Arc
A life line that sweeps wide into the palm.
In the tradition
Readers take a wide arc as someone who goes to people rather than waiting to be found.

In a reading
- It is drawn on the Your rhythm card.
- A line too faint to see in the photo is drawn in pencil, and the card says so.
The life line
Curves around the base of the thumb, enclosing the mount at its root. The life line has never been a lifespan gauge in any of the serious traditions.
Other shapes of the life line
Palmistry is an interpretive tradition, not a diagnostic tool. These pages say what the tradition reads into a shape, not what a hand proves.
